Mouraria53 is an experimental project, testing alternatives in and for the centre of Salvador (Bahia). Assigned to the collective in 2017 for a 4-year rehabilitation, the house hosts many exhibitions, presentations, workshops and classes, operating as a constant interchange in the development of the architectural project. Spaces are built as they are utilized – shaped by their daily uses, and vice versa.
