Kris Sowersby runs Klim Type, an independent type foundry based in Wellington. The text presented here analyzes the process of creating the Untitled Sans typeface, inspired by Morrison and Fukasawa’s concept of Super Normal. Qualified as “quotidian” by its creator, this precise font is actually used in Dia a Dia.
