Interstice(s) in the city - Les Grands Voisins: a daily life in a common place

is an urban planner working for the French cooperative Plateau Urbain, specialized in temporary occupations
of vacant buildings. She has been working for a year inside Les Grands Voisins, a social project in a former hospital in the heart of Paris. This 4-year occupation combines emergency shelters and many activities. Through this original text presented in Dia a Dia, Agathe Hamzaoui dissects the manner in which daily use shaped spaces enable us to rethink the urban fabric.
